Deliverable 2.1 – Multi-Agent System for Routing

This document outlines the multi-agent system and its path-planning algorithm that was developed as exploratory solutions to support the AEON concept of operations. We, therefore, give a description of the conceptual model underlying the multi-agent system based on the targets for, inputs to, and assumptions of the model as well as the core ideas behind it. Based on that, the multi-agent system with its environmental and agent specifications is delineated. Since the path planning algorithm is at the core of the multi-agent system, we provide a detailed explanation of it, including a summary of the undertaken verification and validation steps.
